Eggs, enigmas, and chocolate at the Centre of National Monuments:

Treasure hunts and searches for hidden chocolate eggs on Easter Sunday

The Centre of National Monuments is a public establishment that, in addition to being responsible for the conservation and enhancement of the most famous monuments of France, organizes some 200 annual activities suitable for all audiences.

On Easter, the Centre of National Monuments will celebrate 53 of its monument and invite children and adults to participate in treasure-hunting activities in its castles, archaeological sites, forts, and gardens.

This time, children 5 to 12 years of age, accompanied by their families, can visit these monuments in a fun and original way and re-discover the Easter celebration. They will spend their time searching for clues, solving enigmas related to the history, architecture, and the great characters that inhabited the different places where the hunt takes place in past times. The expected reward at the end of the game: is chocolate eggs for all participants!

Admission is free for children and teenagers under 18 years of age, those under 26 years old who reside in any of the 27 European Union countries, and non-European legal residents living in France. The rest of the attendees pay the normal entrance fee for the chosen site.

Easter surprises at the Ritz in Paris:

During April, the magic of Easter captures the famous Ritz Hotel in Place Vendome. To celebrate Easter, the floral designer Djordje Varda decorated the Ritz Paris with hundreds of Oncidium orchids, transforming the hotel into a magical place illuminated by small young butterflies. In addition, a picturesque garden will be set in the heart of the Great Garden. The children and their parents will have the opportunity to discover real rabbits and many other surprises.

On Sunday, April 8, between 11 and 15 hours, the Ritz offers a special “brunch” with the traditional flavors of Easter. During the brunch, three egg hunts will be organized in the Great Garden to entertain all visitors: children and adults. The patisserie chefs at the Ritz Paris will also welcome those children interested in visiting the hotel kitchen. There, they will teach them how to make the famous chocolate eggs and chocolate decorations. Pre-registration is requested, which must take place in addition to the brunch reservation, as spots are limited.

The Easter brunch costs 155 euros per person and includes a glass of champagne. Children up to the age of 12 pay 85 euros. Every two paying adults, one or two children up to 5 years old may participate in the brunch free of charge.

Happy Easter!
